The “Calgary Flames” is a professional ice hockey team situated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The team is part of the Pacific Division that plays in the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Near the city of Calgary, the existence of rivalry was known as the Battle of Alberta where most games in between teams are often fiery and intense. In Atlanta, Georgia, the team was discovered in the year 1972 and was named as the Atlanta Flames, after 8 years, the team moved to Calgary where they got their official name “Calgary Flames”.
